Product Overview
Poster of 1968 GTO Ad "Woodward"
Product Details
This officially licensed GTO picture was a Pontiac GTO original advertisement featured in Car Life and other automotive magazines in December of 1967. General Motors brass pulled the ad early in the season as they felt it promoted street racing (Woodward Avenue in Detroit was a hotbed of street racing activity through the '50s and into the late '60s and saw several unofficial factory-supported cars from the Big Three automakers in attendance to test the latest performance designs). Available in two different sizes (16"x24" and 24"x36") this 1968 GTO original ad poster is printed on satin finish premium photo-quality paper. Both poster sizes can be professionally plaque-mounted (mounted on 3/8" MDF board and sealed with a durable UV-resistant matte laminate) to further protect and showcase this piece of muscle car advertising history. All mounted posters are finished with a satin black bevelled edge. Original muscle car ads- a great way to dress up your office; den; or garage.
